See With Your Own Eyes

So I can hear the doubters cry 'how can this guy be so sure?'. Look at this picture, published by NASA a couple of days ago. It was spied by the Spitzer space telescope and shows infrared light from 13 billion years ago. Scientists think that it shows the very first objects that existed in the universe. From Dr Kashlinsky of NASA:

Whatever these objects are, they are intrinsically incredibly bright and very different from anything in existence today.
It confirms what we already knew about the early universe from looking at the cosmic microwave background radiation. That the universe started with a big bang, over 13 billion years ago! So you see people, you cannot argue with space. No god put those images in the telescope. We are seeing the universe as it really was, with our own eyes! We could potentially be the only organism in the entire universe which can see and understand what that actually means.

So, yes I am very sure there is no god and no point. We are extremely lucky to know the truth that science gives us and I'm pleased to have had the opportunity to peer through Spitzer's eyes.
