10 Years for Blogging
Proof that the previous post wasn't really my last, I was pretty appalled by a story over at Wired, about a Chinese blogger who has been imprisoned for 10 years, with no-thanks to Yahoo, for providing his details:
Yu's husband is now in Beijing Prison No. 2, serving a 10-year sentence for inciting subversion with his pro-democracy internet writings. According to the written court verdict, the Chinese government convicted Wang, in part, on evidence provided by Yahoo. This is thinkpol and it's very scary!
